Boat Owner Responsibility
Andrews Trucking Limited is responsible for properly supporting and securing the boat, mast, boom, cradle and any other pieces for safe transport.
The Boat Owner is Responsible for:
- Properly storing away all items that may come loose inside the cabin.
- Removing all items on deck that can be removed.
ie: antennae, BBQ, ropes, bimini & dodger, instrument covers, bumpers, etc. - Ensuring the boat is prepped for safe transport.
ie. propellers, radar, flybridge, windshield, bow rail, life lines, etc. removed as per verbal agreement. - Shutting off the battery switch.
- Removing any gas cans.
- Securing and locking all windows and hatches.
- Hiding keys on deck and notifying driver of location.
- Shrink wrap. If boat is shrink wrapped, Andrews Trucking Limited is not responsible if it rips or damages the boat. If it does start to rip, the driver may remove it completely.
- Canvas covers. If boat owner chooses to leave any canvas covers on, Andrews Trucking Limited will not be held responsible for them.
- Removing and storing the spreaders inside boat.
- Securing all rigging and furler systems to mast with rope or packing wrap.
- Removing Windex/wind indicator.
